Eid-ul-Fitr – also known as ‘Sweet Eid’ – is aptly named because of the sheer amount of sweet dishes and treats shared among the world’s 1.57 billion Muslims as they officially break away from the fast-days they observed throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.
